As an established supplier of blue-collar agency staff, Taskforce already has considerable experience supplying a wide variety of temporary workers to the food industry.Through our involvement with companies such as McCains, Daniels Chilled Foods and Greenvale AP, we understand the specialised needs of companies that deal with food handling and production.

In line with our policy of staying in touch with our client industry developments, we applied for our Gangmasters Licence in early 2006. Taskforce recognises the legal requirements for food companies to establish, implement and maintain HACCP procedures, and therefore has adapted its procedures accordingly.

We run Hygiene Training to provide temporary workers with the Basic Certificate in Food Hygiene. Specialist Induction Booklets include dedicated sections to essential hygiene procedures such as Washing, Protective Equipment, Jewellery and Food Health & Safety.

These and other measures ensure that temporary workers can hit the ground running as soon as they enter your site.

Staff can be supplied from our High Street branches, direct from our Poland office, or via a dedicated team based on-site at your premises. Taskforce experts supplying the Food Industry are all fully conversant with GLA standards, and will arrange to spend time with you to make sure they fully understand the needs of the job.

We know that you will want a fast and accurate service, with the capability to fill bookings at short notice. All our offices are geared to provide this, running a daily Breakfast Club of temporary workers, seated in-branch ready to cover unexpected absences whenever required. We can also arrange for a select number of temporary workers to be ‘pre-trained’ and available at a moment’s notice to step into any of your jobs - we call this our Commando initiative.

We take full ownership of our temporary workers, running a Discipline and Grievance procedure for them, as well as undertaking their Appraisal and Induction as required.

You will want a method of measuring our performance, to prove that we ‘’Do What We Say We Do’, and to this end we will agree Key Performance Indicators at the outset of the contract and provide you with a detailed statistical breakdown each month.

We will only supply staff after they have passed our strict Immigration Compliance procedures to prove that they are eligible to work in the UK. All staff will be thoroughly vetted and reference checked, and only then will we consider them available for work.
