Our specialist Driving Division is staffed by knowledgeable consultants who only deal with bookings for drivers (all classes), and are themselves experts in the logistics industry.All Taskforce drivers are carefully reference-checked and must have the appropriate experience and driving qualification for the proposed work. Driving licences are examined during the registration process, and then every six months. Our strict screening process includes a tachograph test, as well as our standard checks to ensure the drivers are eligible to work in the UK. Comprehensive Manual Handling training is also available on request.

We also offer the services of our own expert Driving Standards Agency Grade 5 Driving Assessor, who can pre-screen drivers to your exact requirements via written and verbal tests and on-the-road assessment. Experience at existing clients shows that this assessment is invaluable, ensuring a driver has the necessary skills and allowing us to pinpoint any need for extra training before the driver starts work. No charge is made for using our Driving Assessor, as we are committed to finding the right driver for the job to save you valuable time and money.

Prospective drivers are given New Starter Packs, containing all the information and equipment they require to move seamlessly into their new role at your company. These Packs clearly explain the procedures we have implemented to conform with the Road Transport Working Time Directive, including Guidance Notes on completing our bespoke Driving Timesheet. This timesheet has been specially designed so that drivers can accurately and easily record Periods of Availability and Hours worked.

We monitor the timesheet information in computerised spreadsheet format, and can arrange for you to have internet access so that you too can see at a glance each driver’s current weekly hours, average working hours and periods of availability.

Driving staff can be supplied via our High Street branches, from our Poland office or direct from a dedicated team based on-site at your premises. All supply methods offer the same high level of customer service, measured by pre-agreed Key Performance Indicators via detailed statistical analysis presented on a monthly basis.

Our driving consultants are available 24-hours, 7 days a week, and also offer Added Value services such as £10,000 Drivers Negligence Insurance, Driver Appraisals, on-site Interviews and Inductions, regular Tacho Drops and Return to Work/Exit Interviews.

On-site supply will follow the highly-successful format currently in operation at blue-chip companies such as Wincanton Somerfield (Huntingdon). A dedicated Account Team based at your premises will work closely with your own staff, mirroring your own procedures and ensuring an immediate response to your needs. Through regular communication and performance analysis, we can work together to adapt and enhance our services on an ongoing basis, building up a true partnership which is proven to save you time and money.
